Some coffees are comforting. Others are expressive. This one is exactly what a Guatemalan coffee should be as the Fall rolls in. And I am so proud to offer it to you.

One of my customers has now become a good friend. Being from Guatemala, I trust his instincts and wanted to incorporate some Guatemalan heritage with this offering. He brought me a huipil (wee-peel) which is a traditional blouse-like garment worn by women. The design of each can be, and is, widely individual and represents the stories of the person who adorns it. I absolutely love shit like this and was proud to use it in the photo of this coffee.

In the cup, it’ll be at the Full City roast level and I think it is absolutely mesmerizing as an espresso and a base in milk drinks. It has that velvety mouthfeel and a strong enough body that my drip drinkers will also enjoy. There is complexity here. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for a lighter-bodied coffee. This is for the cool mornings as the Fall rolls in.
